This video provides step-by-step instructions on how to use RideTime’s automated call-in phone feature. Let’s get started.
You can use the RideTime automated call-in feature from your mobile phone or landline by call 937-425-8300.
You’ll need to know the stop ID number to use this feature. To find it, look at the bottom of the RTA sign posted at your stop. If you’re not at your stop location, find the stop ID by visiting iriderta.org/ridetime and clicking on the “Bus Times” icon. Enter your route information into the dropdown menus. After you select your stop, the stop ID can be found in the top left corner. Or press # and a customer service representative will assist you.
Press “1” to get next bus and schedule information. The greeter will then ask you to press 1 again if you know your stop ID and want a list of the next bus times.
After entering your stop ID, the greeter will confirm your stop ID by reading it back to you and asking you to press “1” to confirm the number is correct or “2” to correct it. After pressing “1” the greeter will read off the different routes serving that stop. Press the number coordinating with your desired route. Then press “1” to hear the next arrival times. You can press star to have the greeter read off those times again. You can then press “4” if you’d like to hear arrival times for a different route or press “5” to save this stop ID. Saving the stop ID will allow you to quickly select from a list of “favorites” at the beginning of the call when you call RideTime using the same phone number.
If you need assistance or would like to speak to a customer service representative, you can press “0” at any time during the call and be transferred to the next available agent. Our customer service call center is open Monday through Friday 7a.m. to 7:30p.m., and on weekends and holidays from 8a.m. to 5p.m.
